Check Out Some of My Work
I’ve built lead-generating websites, marketing campaigns, and deliverables for nearly two decades across the publishing, mobile video, B2C e-commerce, B2B ecommerce, medical devices, and life sciences industries. One time, I – a Communication major – even led the product launch of the FLIPR Penta High-Content Cellular Screening System at Molecular Devices. I’ve also interviewed Mick Fleetwood, but I digress. Quite the contrast, no?

Web Design
I built my first web sites in Microsoft FrontPage and first used Adobe Photoshop back when you could still own it. Eventually, I got good enough at both to start building web sites with a purpose – websites for local bands, local hockey teams, and even a college club hockey team that I also designed a logo for.
Since then, I’ve built websites for brands like Intuitive Surgical, Accuray Incorporated, CyberKnife, TomoTherapy, and Sierra Investment.
FLIPR Penta
At some point not too long ago, I was tasked with launching the new FLIPR Penta High-Content Cellular Screening System for Molecular Devices. As simply as I can describe it, this laboratory workhorse plays a crucial part in the drug development process by capturing the movement of cells, giving insight into how certain drug compounds affect cellular activity.
Email Marketing
With over 10 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, and many other platforms, I have a strong understanding of email segmentation, deliverability, and best practices. I also have hands-on experience with HTML and CSS and have worked extensively to generate reports and optimize email performance.
Graphic Design
Throughout my career, I’ve designed as many of my own marketing graphics as possible. With about 20 years of Adobe Photoshop experience, and over 15 years of Adobe Illustrator experience, I can design full-color graphics for websites, emails, landing pages, trade show displays, videos, social media, and more.
Copywriting
Although most of the copy I’ve written in recent years has been in digital marketing, I was once an Assistant Editor and Staff Writer at DRUM! Magazine. Not only was I very fortunate to have interviewed drumming and percussion legends like Mick Fleetwood, Jimmy Chamberlin, and Airto Moreira, I also had a chance to tour the DW Drums factory in Oxnard, and their PDP Drums factory in Ensenada.
Video Production
Having cut my teeth as a Communication major in the College of Arts and Sciences at Santa Clara University, I have quite a bit of video production experience. This includes scriptwriting, storyboarding, lighting, editing, audio, and even some on-screen performing.
